World Cup team hotels, Where all the World Cup teams are staying in Qatar, Photos, names

The largest sporting event the Middle East has ever seen will take place in Qatar in just under 75 days, with the participation of 32 teams.

As a result, new hotels are opened up left, right, and center, some of which will serve as teams’ accommodations.

Where will your favorite people be staying, you ask? You are, of course.

Qatar – Al Aziziyah Boutique Hotel

Qatar, the host nation, will be lodging at Aspire Zone’s Al Aziziyah Boutique Hotel.

The 139-room Victorian-style building houses an indoor and outdoor pool, a spa, a 24-hour gym, and 139 rooms.

When the group gets hungry, they can visit the restaurant Glass House, which is surrounded by greenery, or have afternoon tea at Victoria Lounge.

Ecuador – Hyatt Regency Oryx Doha

Later this year, Ecuador’s World Cup team will stay at the Hyatt Regency Oryx Doha, which is close to Hamad International Airport.

400 rooms, including 12 suites, an outdoor pool, a Jacuzzi, and a gym are all available to guests there.

The hotel is home to renowned Chinese eatery Chi’Zen, Spanish restaurant The Cellar, and casual Lebanese restaurant Al Nafourah Garden.

They can also head straight to the Jazz Club for some live music if they want to celebrate.

Senegal – Duhail Handball Sports Hall

The Duhail Handball Sports Hall, which debuted in 2014, will serve as the Senegal team’s home during the competition.

Netherlands – The St. Regis Doha

During the competition, the sumptuous St. Regis Doha will also serve as a World Cup team hotel, with the Netherlands team sleeping here.

There are 335 rooms to select from, but the hotel’s Olympic-sized outdoor pool is undoubtedly our favorite feature.

The newly reopened steakhouse Astor Grill and afternoon tea spot Sarab Lounge are both options for the Netherlands team when they get hungry. Some of the best restaurants in the city, including BiBo, La Bodega Negra, and Scalini, are located on the premises of the hotel at the nearby Al Gassar Resort. Via Marriot.com.

England – Souq Al Wakra Hotel Qatar by Tivoli

This boutique hotel is located in Al Wakrah, close to the souq, about 25 minutes outside of Doha’s downtown.

As this World Cup team hotel is made up of a number of historic homes, the England team will get a taste of Qatari culture while they are there.

The all-day dining restaurant Jarnen offers Mediterranean cuisine, while Markhan serves Arabic food.

More upscale eateries can be found outside the hotel grounds, including the seafood restaurant Danat Al Bahar. tivolihotels.com

Iran – AlRayyan Hotel Doha, Curio Collection by Hilton

Since the Al Rayyan Hotel has direct access to the Mall of Qatar, let’s hope the Iranian football team left plenty of room in their suitcases.

Along with shops, the hotel features a gym, an outdoor pool, and the afternoon tea lounges Mezzo and Moda.

The team can also reserve a stay at a unique themed suite that was unveiled earlier this year if any of its members are fans of Hot Wheels.

USA – Marsa Malaz Kempinski

The USA squad will want to relax on the magnificent private beach or take a dip in one of the Marsa Malaz Kempinski’s many pools in between games.

If that wasn’t enough to calm them down, the Marsa Malaz Kempinski also has a number of eateries, including the Spanish restaurant El Faro, the Lebanese restaurant Antika, and even a throwback diner and sports bar called Public House where guests can watch the action.

Nozomi, Toro Toro, and the recently opened Lobito de Mar are just a few of the outstanding eateries that can be found in the hotel’s restaurant complex. kempinski.com

The Argentinian team will be staying on the Qatar University campus in northern Doha near the Doha Golf Club.

Saudi Arabia – Sealine Beach, a Murwab Resort

The Saudi Arabian football squad will have a tranquil stay at this resort, which has 58 private villas and is about 45 minutes’ drive from Doha.

This location is at Sealine Beach, as the name would imply, and during downtime, players can engage in a variety of water sports, including riding a jet ski or taking a tour in a doughnut boat.

Additionally, they won’t be far from Qatar’s most gorgeous location, the Inland Sea, which is one of the few locations in the world where sand dunes and the sea meet.
