In Tanzania, a passenger airliner crashes into Lake Victoria.
On November 6, 2022, a Precision Air aircraft from Tanzania crashed into Lake Victoria.
According to Tanzania Broadcasting Corporation (TBC), the plane was going to arrive at Bukoba Airport in Northwestern Tanzania, but due to the bad weather, it crashed into the lake.
According to Precision Air’s social media accounts, the passenger plane had left Dar es Salaam for a two-hour flight to Bukoba.
Although the number of passengers on board the Precision Air jet and whether any people died are unknown, TBC reported that 15 people have so far been recovered.
The largest lake in Africa, Lake Victoria, borders Bukoba Airport.
