Ifeanyi’s foster brother, Emeka Senator, has suggested that the family may have previously heard a prophecy concerning Ifeanyi’s demise but disregarded it.
On Monday, October 31st, Davido’s three-year-old child with his fiancée, Chioma, drowned in a swimming pool at his father’s home in the Banana Island region of Lagos State.
He was reportedly taken by ambulance to Evercare Hospital in Lekki, where one of the attending physicians pronounced him dead.
Ifeanyi’s parents left him with his minders when they flew to Ibadan for a family reunion yesterday; they were unable to explain how he entered the pool undetected and drowned. Read here.
The parents haven’t said anything yet about the terrible thing that happened, but Davido’s foster brother posted on his Instagram Stories that the family had been warned about it.
But even though he withheld specifics of the prophecy, he did mention that they disregarded it and expressed regret to God.
He wrote; “The revelation was taken for granted, God we are so sorry”,
