In his recent interview with Marcellus Wiley on his More To It podcast, rapper, Lil Wyne, named Jay-z as the greatest rapper ever.
During the interview, Marcellus asked him to name the greatest rapper of all time and not include himself.
After initially mentioning Notorious B.I.G. Lil Wayne apologized and said “The greatest rapper of all time is Sean Jay-Z Carter.”
When asked why, Wayne told Wiley, “when you do this rapping thing, there is a certain thing, like football, every sport is different… That thing that we know in rap, only he knows that.”
Lil Wayne also called Jay-Z the “Tom Brady” of rap.
