Liberian president George Oppong Weah hangs out with son, Timothy Weah in Doha

Former FIFA best footballer of 1995 and incumbent president of the Republic of Liberia His Excellency George Tawlon Manneh Oppong Ousman Weah has visited his son Timothy Weah and the United States Men’s Soccer Team USMNT in Doha, the capital of Qatar.

His visit was after his son Timothy made his world cup debut for the Yanks last night and netting his debut goal in the 36th minute in the global football tournament against Wales. This came as no surprise to many football enthusiasts because Timothy Weah has been on a blistering form for French ligue 1 side Lille OSC this season after joining from PSG for €10 million euros in 2019.

His Excellency George Oppong Weah through official twitter account indicated that; he just had dinner with his son Timothy and he is proud about that.

Weah, who had a 14-year professional football career in Europe, played for notable teams like Monaco, PSG, A.c Milan, Chelsea, Manchester city and Olympique Marseille. He also featured for the Liberian national team in 75 appearances with 18 goals to his tally.
