Ghanian football legend Asamoaoh Gyan has responded to the controversial penalty that was awarded to the Portuguese side against Ghana.
The former black stars striker who was billed as a pundit on a live television discussion expressed that ””The penalty for me, I don’t agree because it was a soft touch although Ronaldo was a bit early…. The referee should have at least checked the VAR before making the decision because I think it was too soft.”
Gyan holds the record for being the all time top African goalscorer in the history of the world cup with 6 goals.
