“I love Manchester united and I love the fans” Cristiano Ronaldo bids emotional farewell to MUFC family

Portuguese football icon Cristiano Ronaldo has said an emotional goodbye to the Manchester United family through his twitter handle. This was after his current contract with Manchester united was mutually terminated. The five-time Balon d’ Or winner has been struggling to thrive at Old Trafford after his reunion with his former club during the summer of 2022 from Juventus

During an interview session with renowned British journalist Piers Morgan recently, Ronaldo revealed that, he has no respect for his coach Eric Ten Hag because the coach doesn’t respect him. He further leveled several allegations against the Glazer family for lacking direction and poorly mismanaging the affairs of the team after the departure of sir Alex Ferguson. He also bitterly indicated that, some section of the Manchester united players wants him out of the club.

Days after making these shocking revelations, rumors gathered indicated that the relationship between Ronaldo and the Manchester united team as a whole had finally broken down.

Ronaldo said his farewell to MUFC in a tweet which he stated that: “Following conversations with Manchester United we have mutually agreed to end our contract early. 

I love Manchester United and I love the fans, that will never ever change. However, it feels like the right time for me to seek a new challenge. 

Cristiano Ronaldo played 346 games and scored 145 goals with 59 assists during his entire spell at Old Trafford. It is undoubtedly clear that, he is one of the best things that has ever happened to Manchester united as a team, and his name would forever be etched onto the hall of fame of the British football giants. He leaves as a legend but with a sour end.
