In an interview with Onua FM, Jacqueline Acheampong, professionally known as Gyakie, the Ghanaian R&B and afro-fusion singer, made publicly how she bagged her encouragement from Ronald Kwaku Dei Appiah famously known as Bisa Kdei, the Ghanaian native solo singer and record producer, when she wasn’t yet known to the public [what is termed as underground artist].
Gyakie the daughter of the Ghanaian legendry musician, Nana Acheampong, released her first single titled “Love Is Pretty” in the year 2019, a song which paved way for her next single, “Never Loke This.”
In the year 2020, she released her five-track EP, titled “Seed” from which the “Forever” song became her most stepping stone to fame a was topping charts in Ghana, Kenya and Nigeria.
