FIFA confirm Neymar out of Brazil next two games with ankle injury

Reports coming in from the of the Brazilian medical team indicates that, talisman Neymar Jnr will miss their next two group stages games against Switzerland and Cameroon respectively due to an injury.

The “Selecao” begun their Qatar 2022 world cup campaign against Serbia in a two-nil win at the Lusail Iconic stadium on 24th

 November 2022. But unfortunately for them, marksman Neymar Jnr suffered a seemingly terrible injury in the 80th minute of the game, which he was replaced by Anthony Santos.   

The 30-year-old PSG winger was later pictured on the bench with his eyes soaked in tears accompanied by a swollen ankle.

After several scans and diagnostics, the doctor of the Brazilian nation team, Rodrigo Lesmar have announced that, Neymar suffered a sprain in the right ankle and he will miss the renaming group stage matches.
