Antony Taylor named as referee for Ghana Korea show showdown

Renowned English referee Anthony Taylor has been named as the center officiating man for the cracking group H match between the black stars of Ghana south Korea on Monday 28th November 2022 at the Education City stadium in Al Rayyan

Issues with officiating has been a very hectic problem in the ongoing Qatar 2022 world, and has generated a lot of attention and reaction. The black stars of Ghana in their group H opener suffered an inevitable loss as a result of officiating blunders from American- Moroccan referee Ismail Elfath.

Elfath’s abysmal performance at the stadium 974 in Ras Abu Aboud on 24th November led to the awarding of a malicious penalty to Portuguese talisman Cristiano Ronaldo, which Ismail Elfath received backlashes from scores of football enthusiast including high profiled referee Mike Dean and Alan Shearer.

FIFA in response to the ongoing officiating brouhaha has appointed ted popular English premier league referee Antony Taylor as the referee for the group H second stage opener. He will be assisted by Gary Beswick and Adam Nuun.
